AH- NO. at least for the 32valve engines I'm aware of.
The information from the folks that actually cast the blocks( Kolbenschmidt-Pierburg) indicates that ALL 32 valve
V8 castings were Alumisil ( alloy AlSi17Cu4Mg )

these engines isn't an issue.
I've rebuilt 2 Porsche 928 engines that use the same ( basically) material- no problems.
