how long do these cars last? my friends dad is selling his with 147,000 miles for 2500 Is it worth it? I never owned or drove an audi. I took a road test and all seemed ok. should i look for anything in particular?

as far as i know about tjhis car....this price sounds good  only pblm I know is the gearbox at about 250.000km. the body and interrior: there is no limit the engine, too I know 2 with more than 300.000km....
