I have no photos. But I have refurbished loads of those calipers.
Does your repair kit contend the boot of the larger guide? It should because the boot gets easily damaged during dismantling.

1. Blow the piston out of the cylinder
2. Lever the boot of the larger guide out of its housing (no matter whether at the carrier or the caliper)
3. Separate caliper and carrier
4. Dismantle the guide boot, the rubber guide, the piston boot and the piston rectangular ring
5. Do whatever you want with the surfaces but clean them. Take care of the piston boot - and rectangular ring grooves inside the caliper. They need to be clean and free of rust.
6. Renew the rectangular ring and grease the piston and cylinder with brake cylinder paste (contained in the set)
7. Slide the piston boot over the piston first and then fit the boot into its seat. Take care that the boot is completely snapped in its groove. Push the piston into the cylinder
8. Grease (i.e. Molykote) the bushing of the large guide inside the carrier.
9. Fit the new boot to the carrier first (I have machined a sleeve to drive the sheet ring onto its seat.)
10. Fit the smaller rubber bushing into the caliper
11. Grease the large guide (better more than less) and the thin guide (better less than more)
12. Slide the caliper over the guides and push it firmly onto the carrier to press the other sheet ring of the boot onto the calipers seat. If necessary apply a plastic hammer to press the caliper firmly on the carrier.

Yes you need to remove the both rings from the caliper and the carrier guide and bushing.
Sometimes an image is worth a thousands words. It shows the two rings that clamp the boot.
