I have a leak in my power steering system. (90' 3.6) I cannot tell where it is coming from. The ps pump is soaked from the top down as well as componants around it, so its not the pump. Both hoses are wet as well. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Hello,

This means tnhat the pump is leaking. usually it leaks on one of it's blind stop screws. There are 8 of such screws on the pump but usually it it the screw nearest to the output connection. You can try to replace the rubber gasket in the srew but you have to take the pumpout of the car.

regards.

Hi Mike !

I´ve had such a problem recently. Unfortunately the steering element had to be renewed. It couldn´t be sealed no more. I hope it is something else with you.
The steering element cost 750 Euro in germany. Additionally I had to pay the installation.

Good luck, Stephan
Please excuse my bad english ;-)
