Ok i am now the owner of 2 v8 cars, , 3.6 saloon and a new to me lhd s4 4.2 abh avant, amazing how different they are, anyway the s4 is a manual and i am looking at lpg conversion and a power increase, does anyone have any experience of either?i have just returned from south of france covering some 3000 kms at around 25 mpg and @2.0 liters of oil, otherwise the 4.2 ran beautifully , hence my decision to fettle it .

Hi,
LPG conversion is usually simple to accomplish, around 2000 GBP. Where are you located?
Power increase - honestly, without serious changes in engine mechanics (other camshafts, other intake manifold, a.s.o) you won't get far. I would stay away from it, especially on a daily driver.
Regards
Bastian

HI, I am aware of a capable gas converter nearby Eastbourne in the south, that's where a friend of mine has bought his, already equipped with LPG. A bit far for you I fear? We've bought a V8 in Derbyshire once, was the first RHD we've taken to Austria Best regards Bastian
