Doesn't anyone know why, when I put the car in gear (automatic trans), the dash lights go out with the headlights on? Since I don't have an owner's manual yet (I'm looking online for one) I'm thinking that the dimmer switch is set to off or there's something else going on....if anyone has any ideas on this, I'd like to hear them. Thank you in advance for your time and responses.

Dear Don, join the great US V8 mailing list at v8@audifans.com - most of the members are from the states. There is a dimmer indeed, but I fear it's not the problem - you should find the dimmer on the very left side in the dashboard, the black vertical wheel. Move it upwards to raise the light. Bastian

Bastian, I'll check that out and thank you also for the v8 forum at audifans. I haven't joined Audiworld yet but it's on my 'To Do' list!! I'll post what I find as soon as I can.....
