I having problem with variating idle on my S6 4.2 AEC.

i have searched info on Nordicaudi.com etc.

i have cleaned the Idle Stabilizer Valve and all hoses to the crankcase ventilation are new, also the vaccum hoses are new.

Sometimes the rpm is around 1-1200 rpm in N or P mode and sometimes it´s perfect,But if you rev the engine just a little or turn it off and on the rpm is perfect again.

i can not find any difference between hot or cold engine,do someone having any suggestion of a solution of my problem.?

Best regards Johan from sweden.

Difficult to say, could be a temperature sensor. First step would be checking all the connectors around the engine for cleanness and good contact. Then it might help to read out the faultcodes. Something intermittent could be stored.

I changed the cylinder head gaskets+ all sealings in each cylinder head and machining/milling the cylinder heads for right straigtness.

all hoses for crankshaft ventilation+all vacuum hoses are new,and it has worked fine from june until now.

I´m have my thouhgts about the lambda or temp sensor.

i have no errors in VAG com.

Are you sure that your throttle valve is absolutely closed and the idle switch is OK?
