In V8?? "heckblende" means the lights between back corners (the red belt)??
If it is it, the difference is that The US one, has wider lights, and the registration plate must be square-shape... It is sure, hat there is a difference in numbers... Some pics: 1. The EU one: http://picasaweb.google.pl/Hevelian/V8/photo#5071813577429541554
2. The US one: http://picasaweb.google.pl/Hevelian/Ogolny/photo#5071813306846601858 http://picasaweb.google.pl/Hevelian/Ogolny/photo#5071813332616405650

Yes, thats what I'm talking about and I know the difference with the EURO-center piece (441 945 255 A) but what differs the "CH" (441 945 255 C) from the "US" centerpiece (441 945 217 C), is it only the space for the numberplate, or ...?

In my opinion there is no difference between these types of lights... The only one is the plate shape... The US lights fit with no complications to EU cars. So there cannot be any difference in mounting, and lightning between US and CH and J... (beside the sape of lights of course)...

I think so... I have both: EU and US (which is the same as CH), and there is no problem with swaping them, and also no problem with foglights...
