Hi and a warm welcome Davide.

Looks like a bit work needs to be done.
Your gearbox ECU is running in fault modus, so first you should read out the error codes.

The front brake discs are pretty expansive. The rear ones are cheaper. Mind the parking brake mechanism at the rear calipers. The levers must not jam in their housings. After releasing the handbrake the levers need to return to their rest position automatically.

Good luck with your new car!

thnx for your answer. I know, its a bit work but i like the car very much and i dont need him directly. I can work at ease.

Thank you!

Hi Davide,

sounds good. Keep the V8 well maintained and in good condition. It will bring appreciated value.

Hi

First you should check the fuse in the fuel-pump-relay... remove it if you found one.

hello roy and thanks for the advice! If i remove the fuse (13 and 23?) what is gonna happen then?

Please read again:
"the fuse in the fuel-pump-relay"

You're looking at the wrong place...

ok, thank you for letting me know.

from personal experience-

Gearbox indicator fully lit up, as mentioned above, is a limp home mode. A full fluid and filter change quite often resolved many gearbox problems Ive encountered across 4 different cars. But pulling the codes is a must. it's actually pretty simple- i made my own diagnostic cable, based on the info in the service 'manual'.
likewise, understanding the state of the engine codes, which you will do at the same time.

My cars are all UK models; On european cars, do you have a facility to blink the codes directly on the dash instruments?

Brakes.
The UFO disks and pads will likely set you back a similar amount as buying the car. The standard discs are nearly unique, and no direct fit alternatives exist.

You'll enjoy it, from tinkering to driving

I think the car wont start... or something else gonna wrong... I don't know, I didn't do it ever - why should I ?

What I really mean is:
In the fuel-pump-relay are some pins, there fits fuses and some stupid people think, it's wise to plug in a fuse in a place that seems to be so... BUT there SHOULND'T be a fuse -> Only if you want to read out the engine failure codes and transmission failure codes through the transmission-position lamps (I don't know what the name is for that PRND321-thing in the dashboard)!

I had already made a indicator light(attachement) for reading out because that is the first thing I'm going to do with the car when i have it.is
it also possible that there is something in the gearbox stuck from standing still for long (2years)? he starts, that is no problem.

He starts? and? don't move? or what? that's quite important, you should note such things FIRST - not just "all lights on"!

Like the trucker that called his boss
Trucker: "sorry boss, I've broken the left mirror on your truck"!
Boss: "no problem, please get a new one from the store and mount it"
Trucker: "well, I wish I could..."
Boss: "why?"
Trucker: "the truck lie above the mirror"

Do you check the relay? or do you just want to ask until the problem is solved by itself?

hello roy, like i said in my first post...i am going to buy a audi v8. i dont have it yet. i was going to look one time...the engine started but 3 tires were flat so i could not drive with it(because he stands stil 2years). and yes all the lights of the gearbox were on. normally i have the car end this week(next weekend). but i just wanted to ask some questions....not more. so no...i have not checked the relay because i have the car not at home, sorry.
verfasst von: Tim A. Re: hello from belgium - 17.01.2016 09:22
Davide, don't worry about that. You didn't mention in any way that the engine doesn't start. You wrote about simultaneously flashing of all gear indicator lights, what's got nothing to do with the fuel pump. So I even was wondering about the advice to check any fuse in the fuel pump section. I think the misunderstanding is not on YOUR side, so YOU don't need to say sorry.
verfasst von: Roy F Re: hello from belgium - 17.01.2016 10:51
Tim, you should read his first post

There he wrotes:
In Antwort auf:

all the lights of the (automatic) gearbox are o

Not more nor less technical information about it! I thought when he not comment a thing about the transmission function, so it's okay. Should I know, that "he must have new tires" means they a totally flat? come on!

If I sit in a AudiV8 and all his gearbox lights are lighted, so I would first check the fuel-pump-relay, sorry that I made this expirience TWICE that someone put a fuse in there! Jeah, thats the reason why I should sorry... sorry for my expirience I share with you! Maybe it would be better I've wrote "oh [censored], this means the transmission is damaged or the TCU are down!"
verfasst von: tutti ricchiuti Re: hello from belgium - 17.01.2016 01:55
dear roy, thanks for all the advice! if i have the car thats the first thing that i am going to check. i just have wrote the things that i have seen...not more. my fault for the mistake, sorry. i just wanna to ask some questions.
verfasst von: Roy F Re: hello from belgium - 17.01.2016 04:56
No problem, just difficult!
For remote diagnosis it's important that all details are present...

If I would buy a car, then it MUST be able to drive, or I must be shure why it doesn't. There you are, unknowing if the transmission work because you don't try to drive - this you should really get to know before you buy it, transmission problems can turn pretty expensive or a lot of work.
verfasst von: tutti ricchiuti Re: hello from belgium - 17.01.2016 05:47
you are right!! if i go this week for the car i am going to ask first if i can drive with it so i know there is nothing with the gearbox or test it. like you said, it is indead difficulte to explain all when i dont have the car and just saw him 1 time. If i know more this week i will let it know here at the forum. have a nice weekend everybody!

Did you get the car?

If it's been sitting unused, it may well work ok once it's up to temperature. So I would run it, drive it until both the coolant is at full temperature, and you've had a chance to drive it in all gears, including by manual selection.
