Hi all. My 1990 3.6L V8Q is in need of new radiator hoses (upper, but especially lower) as mine are leaking like sieves. Over here in Canada these cost several hundred dollars even for used ones from the wrecking yard.

I was wondering, is anyone aware of a universal replacement? Or are there any compatible hoses from perhaps the later Audi 100/5000s or possibly the A8?

Another option, at least where the lower radiator hose is concerned, could be making my own hose. Do you guys know what the correct circumference of the line would be?

Thanks!

Dear Jordan,

These are the OE numbers for the hoses:
upper: 441.121.055
lower: 441.121.101

You can order it in Germany at https://trshop.audi.de

Greetings from Germany.

Hi Jordan,

as Roland quoted below, Audi Tradition Shop supplies both hoses as brand new spare parts. It makes about 180,-US$ (shipping and toll needs to be added).

I didn't find any other vehicle except the Audi V8 (PT and ABH) these hoses matching to.

Alternatively you can make your own custom made hoses with diameter according hoses, tube turns and t-pieces (possibly copper fittings from your heating supplier ?)
