Hi! i Have a friend who has an -91 Audi V8 with the 3.6 litre V8 and 4 speed automatic gearbox.
When he starts the car cold, it has problems starting, stops if you dont push the gas, the exaust gas is black/blueish. When the car is warm it starts without trouble if you tun off the engine and starts it right away. If you wait about 5-10 minutes or more it becomes hard to start it again, but this time te exaust gas is just black.
I suspect that it gets too much petrol in the starting moment, i have measured the tempprobe on the back off the right cylingerhead, according to my info that one is for the engine control. It sems to be ok, i had about 360 Ohms when the engine was about 90-95 degrees warm.
The car also "rocks" when you accelerate slowly, like it gets too much/too little fuel all the time. Hard to describe in english, im from sweden and i dont talk/write german...
I would like to check the Lambda Probe, but i cant find the connecting wires for it, havent cheched under the car though...
Does anyone know what the fault could be???
Best regards, Björn Söderberg Sweden
