When writing my first lines about the topic we are talking about my intention was to illustrate, that the author of the answer mail that Maik Fassbender received has a very poor, general and superficial opinion about Germany.
Therefore I reacted with a very similar answer to Maik´s thread to show that no nation kann be lumped together. When I read your answer it´s getting obvious that there is a misunderstanding in what I wanted to illustrate.
By the way relatives of my family live in Canada...
It´s funny, but any time a german criticises America the story of the NAZI is put right out on the desk and presented as if the 2nd World War happened yesterday.
I was born in 1971 and so the story of the 2nd World War and everything about this in history will be a part of my life, but as you know I wasn´t born yet, when all the things happened in the past.
Actually my opinion about the "Americans" is not bad, why should it ...
