On my Audi v8 automatic gear box will not go in reverse.I D it is everything fine but when i put it in reverse sometimes car goes ahead ,not in reverse and strange sound comes from gear box!Have everyone experienced that?
Check the codes first. It can be anything from a bad electrical connection (contact) to an internal transmission problem. Take it to an Audi mechanic and identify the problem first. Remember that the V8 can be an account destroyer or as cheap to fix as the Corrola.
Hi, Revers gear is included without use of electronics. I had this problem. Seal ring of the piston of a friction clutch of revers gear has been damaged. Best regards, Dmitry
