Hi everyone..
I have had my springs replaced all around at the Audi dealers in Algeciras (Southern Spain). The car was in the service department for nearly 3 months (!) They waited for parts they said..
Now, I have had the car back for some months, but I have this suspicious feeling the springs are NOT the orginal ones...
I think perhaps they may be for an audi 200?
What happens is that I think the car feels too "wavy" and "loose". If I fill up the tank with fuel the rear guards come down to about 3 cm from the wheels. Now imagine I load up the boot with suitcases and stick 4 adults in the car...

Something is not right.

I need a fabrication number for the original springs for the car. (3.6 1989-90),,,anyone?

Then I can check with the fab. nr. on the springs currently on the car and hopefully clear up for good whether or not they are in fact the right ones...

Thanx a million all

Hi there down far south ! ( isn´t it north of africa to be honest? - i´m kidding )

The OEM numbers of them V8 springs are for instance :

front:
automatic: 441 411 105 J / 441 411 105 P (sport) / 441 411 105 H

shifting gearbox : 441 411 105 H / 441 411 105 K (sport) / 441 411 105 G

rear: 441 511 115 A ( fitting A200tq as well ! )

Might be much easier if you send the numbers of the springs you got, to figure out whether they are proper.

I remember years ago i had a leaky clutch cylinder in my former car which was a 200tq and it was impossible to get a new one in spain, because they never sold this car in spain. the dealer ( VAG in Tarragona ) even could not figure out the part number.

Due to that circumstance it might be pretty complicated in general to get parts for your car .

Not really Roland,

All the parts are imported from Germany so it should not be a problem. However I should get the part numbers later today (the car is in another workshop at the moment) so I'll post them here.

But you are saying the springs are the same for the Audi 200?

If thats the case then I am a little lost. Because it seems like the springs are not stiff enough.

Regards

Frank

Hi again Roland (or any other who can help)

I have received a number for the springs/shock

1-0201-32-115-8
Boge
441 513 001 B

F34

If anyone can make sense of it it'd be great.

Have I got the right Shocks/Springs

Apparently the spring sits on the shock and is a part of it?

Hope u guys have some answers...

Thanx a million

Hi Frank, these are not OEM-numbers, so i cannot decide or proof what springs/shocks you got. Maybe that someone else in this Forum has access to Boge to do that.

As i said, the rear V8-Springs does also fit in the A20q, the numbers are equal.
