Hallo,

Im verteiler ist nix drin. Es ist nur ein T teil wo drei leitungen zusammen kommen.

The bremshraftregler funktioniert as follows. When there is no or little hydraulik presure the regler gives only a minimum of bremskraft tot the rear wheels. When the car is under heavy load, the hydraulik pressure will increase as the nivo regler is trying to regulate the rear end of the car. In that case the maximum bremskraft is applied to the rear wheels. When you disconnect the hydraulics on the front to disconnect the nivo, this means that there is no hydraulic pressure anymore to the bremskraftregler. This means that the regler "thinks"that the car has no load on the rear an only a minimum of bremskraft is applied to the rear wheels. In a car without nivo the bremskraftregler is "lastabhangig. This device is coupled tot the rear traversewheelarm.

The function of the bremsservo is as follows, In most other cars bremsservo is applied by the vacuum of the engine. The vacuum helps to assists the brakes. But a vacuum servo is large and there is no space in the V8. So Audi uses the Hydraulik bremsservo which is smaller then a vacuum unit. Instead of the vacuum of the ebgine that assists the braking, in this case the hydraulic prssure from the hydraulicpump is assisting the brakes. It is a small device located behind the main brakecilinder behind the reservoir.

So if you like to disconnect your nivo just disconnect the line from the main druckspeicher in the front to the nivo. Just behind the Hydrualik Oel behalter, there is a spiral leitung. This is the line to the nivo. Amd donot forget to disconnects also the rtour line. This is a plastic line that comes under the brake main cilinder from under the car.

Gruss
