I can't remember off the top of my head... This is how I would do it - Buy a 12 volt probe (the kind that has a ground clamp on one end, and looks like a screwdriver, but with a sharp point). The wires come from the ignition switch. You are looking for a THICK wire that has no voltage on it (when you stab it with your probe) regardless if the key is in the on or off position. This wire will only light up when you touch the key to the 'start' position. Simply poke the suspected starter wire and touch the key (very briefly) to 'start'. If it lights up, you found your starter wire.
Look for the ignition wire the same way; it will always be hot regardless of key position.
The running lights can be found coming out of the light switch harness. There are 2, one for left, one for right. You will want to use 2 diodes to keep the current separated from right and left. DON'T POKE THE AIRBAG WIRE. :-) Make sure that the wires you are testing come form the ignition switch or the light switch.
Good luck!
Regards,
- Jeremy
