Hey I have a question for you V8 guys out there, my car is burning way to much gas. when driving the car ( 1,500 - 2,000 RPM's) my fuel economy is 5-6 mpg it used to be around 22. Also when my car is running it smells like gas and the plugs are getting fouled up. The smoke comming out of the exhaust is also blue which means gas. Could somebody please give me some information retaining to this problem
Your symptoms could mean many things… I would replace the Fuel Pressure Regulator if you are unsure how long ago it was done. Other causes could be bad Oxygen Sensor, bad thermostat, or possible vacuum leak.

Well i was just piddiling with my car and i noticed that the right side distributor cap isnt working? so i checked the voltage going into the coil it was fine i took the whole coil assembly off of the other v8 and put it in mine still didnt fix it. Then i put new distributor caps in, didnt fix it. Then i checked the rotor and the ohms seemed fine. So now i have no idea what wrong with the car. I NEED SOME HELP BADLY THANKS
