What's the reason for warming up the block before mounting the heads? Both block and heads are made of aluminium alloying, hence they have the same temperature expansion coefficents - I see no reason in doing that.
Clarification requested :-)

Because engine was outside in -3 C and after entering into warm garage, condensation made him wet
