Does any one know or can hazzard a guess at the connection between a jumping speedo needle and the servotronic light illuminating, very intermittant and possibly humidity related?

Speed needle need the "Gala-Signal" and the Servotronic need it to know how fast your car is on the road... if the "Gala-Signal" fail, so the needle don't work and also the Servotronic.

The sensor for this Signal is in the transmissionbox on the front left axle. Goes to dashboard and from there to the speedneedle, Servotronic and also to the cruise control. If you need a connection digramm, I send it to you, but I need your e-mailadresse - a lot of files because the wire goes through many places.

Your problem would be the dashboard connections for this signal, at the most some solderjoints.
