I am hoping to put a staggered set of 17" summer wheels and tires on my car. I would like to know if anyone has an idea of maximum widths and backspacing (ET) measurements one can put on a stock height car. I have found an aftermarket set off of an E39 BMW I might try...any and all information is greatly appreciated...thanks

Having a rare V8 for short-time and asking for how to pimp it, wondering that no answers flow in after two days and being upset?

Having a new car, being excited about improving it, not pimping it. Children pimp cars. I have mismatched wheels with winter tires on them and am thinking ahead. Have a chance on a great deal on a set of wheels I think would look really good on the car and was hoping to get some information (the purpose of this site, I thought). Definitely looking for something original, not Boleros or A8 wheels, and sticking to the 17's because of the terrible roads here. Wasn't "upset" and am not now. I don't think seeing 30 views with not a single response is very promising..and I am sure I called it right..If I bruised some taints, so be it. I couldn't care less

Whatever. ET45 with 225x16x55 come extremely close to the steering link. The V8 was sold with a max of 245x45x17 ET35, already required
a slight mod of the wheelhouses. That are your limits.
