Ah, my madness!
Last year I decided, having had a damned good look at the structure of the car, that she was worth investing some effort in.
Like a lot of V8s, it was neglected at some point, or at least forgotten for a while, before passing through some questionable hands, then one other audi nut a while back, before I finally bought it.
The car is solid underneath. Undoing nuts and bolts on 20+ year old cars usually results in pain; but it was fairly straightforward. The transmission works nicely now, after a complete flush. The engine got replaced cheaply, but there are plans afoot for later.
Electrically, there's a couple of minor gremlins to chase down, but the essentials work.
I installed ur-S6 HP2 Struts and brakes, and S6 rims. Courtesy of Gas-Axe-Simmo. (much better than the UFOs)
The cats are a little more free flow than standard. ahem....sounds nice
The interior needs a little work, still. Namely, getting the carpets out, and a damned good clean. The leather will get some nourishment sometime.
But, she's looking respectable now.
coming together

Nearly complete. Some minor snagging to resolve

Many thanks to the fella on here whose car was an inspiration for mine.
