Hi Kenn Hey, I'm from Denmark too, but live in Gibraltar. Just out of curiosity, how much did you pay for the car? Wonder what sort of insurance you would have to pay......:-( How much does that Lambda thing cost, and could you replace it yourself quite easily or?
I'm having my 89 3.6 at the Audi dealers in Spain at the moment and would like things fixed properly, but of course, little things that can be replaced with ease, there is no reason having an expensive workshop perform.
Had a problem just before I took it in. Drove through a biiiig puddle of water. The car carried on driving for another couple of k's then started going on 6 cyl's then 4 and then died. Couldn't start it again, it just fired some "crackers" out the exhaust as if the whole timing was wrong. Had to leave it til the next morning. It then started perfectly, but after about 10 min idling it started sounding a bit wonky.
Most likely just water that got to the distributor, but since the outside rubberbelt is not encapsuled, this would surely be a constant problem driving in rain or snow???
