Anyone with access to the V8 engine please help me.
My problem starts with locking my car with an aftermarket remote control and having my only key in the car! That would not be a problem if the battery had not drained. Now I can't open the car with the remote. I would need to inject some fresh battery power into the system. To get access to the jump start connector in the engine bay I took out the rubber above the headlight. But it is difficult to see. For a proper probe I would need the distance from the headlamp glass to the positive jump start connector and also the distance from the fender recess to the connector. Any other idea where to inject some +12V would also be appreciated of course. Thanks! Thomas

To open the hood

1) Jack up the car in front
2) Unscrew the engine cover under the oil pan
3) Unscrew the three Phillips screws from the upper grille with a long screwdriver between radiator and engine block from below
4) the bottom three screws are covered with a sheet, drill a hole in each case according to each screw
5) through the drilled holes unscrew the screws with a long screwdriver
6) Remove grille now
7) Press the Locks sideways - the hood jump high - the hood is opened again!

you can access the positive battery terminal at the junction box on the side of the passenger side frame rail. This is where the alternator wire, The jump terminal wire, and the main battery are all joined. There is a black plastic cover to pop off, exposing the three wires bolted together. Hook you positive jumper cable to this, and your negative (earth wire) to the bare chassis. Now use your remote to unlock your car.

Thank you all for the help. I managed to access the jump start connector with a telescope with a magneto at the tip. With this pushed in above the right headlight and connected to the jump start terminal I could charge the battery through the telescope! With the telescope insulated at the middle of course.

Anyway it was good to learn how to open the hood in an emergency.
