Will 92+ climate control work in 1990 V8Q?

Has anyone the answer on whether I can retrofit the newer climate control panel to the older model V8Q? Is the wiring system totally different?

The older version of the air-condition in the V8 was pneumatic controlled. The newer version of is hydraulic controlled . Therefore I would say that there must be differences between the control panel units.
