@rubin: All RHD V8 were equipped with the instrument cluster from the Audi 200 (presumably because so few of them were made that the expense of designing and manufacturing an extra IC for the few V8 sold in RHD countries would not have been justified). LHD V8s have a different instrument cluster with an analog clock where your voltage meter is. All perfectly explainable....
