Does anyone have a workshop manual for their Audi V8. If so, where did you get it from, and how much did it cost? I am very keen to hear about any source of technical info on these cars, even simple stuff like timing belt changing etc etc.
You can buy the scanned manuals on cd at Ebay sometimes.
I bought a full set of Audi orginal workshop manuals for my UrS4 4.2 last week at the local Audi workshop, no problem! (In Sweden)
It consist of 10 pieces (9 small compendiums and 1 big binder)
The price was 350SEK each about 35EUR for each piece 350EUR total price.
It goes like this for ex: Motor mechanic 4.2 ABH, Motronic 8 cyl, klima anlage, gearbox 6speed, electric wiring diagram, so you specify what you need for your own car. The big binder consists of service bulletins.
I have the complete repair-manual on two CD´s and I would really have no Problem
in making copies for you for low cost (only for shipping and the costs for the CD´s), but I guess, there is a little problem: All explanations within this manual
are german. But if you are not afraid in using a dictionary to translate technical
stuff it will be useful for you. Besides mostly the technical sheets (exploded views) do not have much description.
