Hello.
My v8 has a leak from the sterring pump .....
I have bought the gasket set from audi...
Can anyone help with some info how to do this operation?
Is it best to work under the car to remove the pump?

Hi there,
It is much easier than it seems to remove the pump. you need to remove the electric fan, the three hoses and the driving belt. the pump itself is fitted with two bolts at the front and two of them at the rear. then you need to turn the pump upside down and it will fit between radiator and crankcase/ timing belt cover to be removed.

How you know it is the steering pump und not the hydraulic pump.
