Hi,

I've gotten the climate control (the old one) into diagnostic mode and found out that it claims the following (Both on diagnostic channel 01):

9 and 15

9 = No signal from coolant temperature giver ?
15 = Flap malfunction ?

If 9 is correct then a wire must be disconnected or something ?
I know 15 is correct - but what do I do - change the flapmotor ( vacuum motor ) or ? If so does anybody know how much this vacuummotor costs ?

Ok, thank you - so now I know that 9 is ok !

15 = Stellmotor für die Temperaturregelklappe steht falsh
Also the Channel 8 = Ist-Wert des Ruckkoppelpotentiometer am stell motor für die Temperaturregelklappe
and Channel 9 = Soll-Wert des Ruckkoppelpotentiometer am stell motor für die Temperaturregelklappe
are way apart they're supposed to be less than 3 units apart and they are like 100 or more

I thinks that is a solder Problem!
The Motor is in the Engineroom under the Windowwasher
My hadthsi error too!
Remover the "Stellmotor" and open it and solder all points and variable Resistor new!
The variable Resistor shows the climate control where the flapmotor is!

I took out the servomotor (not a vacuummotor) took it apart - applied 12 V a saw it moving complety from one end to the other. Put the servo back in - and viola - everything works like a charm. It would seem there must have been a loose connection or something ....
