Have a 1992 Audi V8 Quattro.
Std shocks (2-3years old) and KAW 35/55 lowering springs (1 year).
New steering damper, tie rod ends, control arms, bushings and ball joints, strut mounts and bearings. Changed CV joints right inner and outer.
Checked both steering rack mounts.
When i turns in low speeds i hear a ugly clonking noise from the front, right side.
But i did notice some noise when i use a crow bar against Transmission/Driveshaft flange. in and out play.
Does anyone have drawings/parts numbers over the 4,2 automatic gearbox?

in and out play is normal... because somewere must be length adjustment... the same at the side by the wheel bearing...
is the clonking noice once a time by steering like *clonk* or by every weelturn *clonk-clonk-clonk* ?
take some oil and spray the suspect parts like lowering springs...

At every wheelturning. Dont need to turn much. if im turning the steering wheel fast left to right a bit, i also getting this noise.
And also some noise at bumps.
Ps: Wheel bearings is new also.
