Anyone know what this 2 pin connector is for? It is found under the rear seat on the right side!

No, it's not, they are all already connected. One of the few things that my car is not equipped with is Rear Power Seats , could it be something to that option?

Hi,

I personally don't think so, but I've never inspected the connectors for the rear power seats. What about the rear electrical roller blind, or the 3rd, middle brake light?

That's an idea, 3rd brake light, that's worth checking up in the schematics!
(Its not the electric roller blind)

Thanks!

The colors of the wires says, that it not original one, athough the connector is stock. If it's additional brake light connector, than there should appear an 12V voltage while pressing a brake pedal, check it with a multimeter!

Good idea, thanks!
The cable and connector comes out of a stock wiring harness !

Heh.. got the same connector in my car, didn't payed attention to it before, anyway, i've checked it with a multimeter, blue wire is connected to the ground, red one has no voltage even pressing brake pedal, so guess it's not an additional brake light connector...

Due to my present situation (wheel chair and both hands plasted) I have not had the possibility to make any feather investigation in this matter!
But I'm still curios of what it could be connected to? The factory installed telephone was not connected to this nor the rear seat heater. The AUX heater/ WEBASTO shouldn't be connected, it should have an own wiring harness and so should the rear power seats ( which non of them that I have ), What else could it be? I don't know of any more options for the V8!
