Hi everybody, in New 2006.
I wish You all the best in New Year.
Since last time I wrote on this forum, something strange starts to happened with my V8. Almost always when I start car it turn of after 1sec. and I must start it again… after restart it work normally. I use to start car without pressing the accelerator (pedal), but now even if I pres pedal when starting the car if I remove my leg from the pedal engine will stop and I must restart engine (this time it will work normal). I check comp. and it didn’t show any error. I try with change of temp.sensor, but it’s didn’t help… I also must emphasize that after restart engine, car go and stop normally without any attend of engine to shutdown. Dose any anybody knows what can be a problem and how to fix it…

haven't You cleaned the engine with high pressure water?
I made it one time, through 3-4 days made the car this behaviour. We cleaned the ignition, but nothing.There was something sensor at the main air valve (small electro motor for adjusting the running of the engine).
What about the Lambda-sensor of the catalitic converters?

I didn’t wash engine… It’s just become cold and wet weather.
I clean the main air valve, but I still have the same problem. When I start engine for the first time it shutdown, and after instant restart its work properly. Its look like every time I wont to start engine, I must do that twice.
I check, fuel pump and it’s ok (it have good and constant pressure), also I change fuel pressure regulator, and temp. sensor. Once more time I check engine comp. (and it’s didn’t show any error).
It’s really strange that ALWAYS, first time it’s doesn’t work, and second time its work just fine…

clean with breakcleaner your standgascontroller (leerlaufregler) it is in the front of the engine fixt with 3 screws.
